Program Overview
We are supporting a multi year ERP optimization and system consolidation initiative for a U.S. based manufacturing organization.
This role is part of the central SAP data team and focuses on enterprise master data standardization and ECC to S4 HANA migration across multiple manufacturing plants.
We are seeking a hands on SAP Data Migration Consultant with direct experience executing SAP data conversion projects in complex manufacturing environments.
This is not a reporting, BI, or generic data analyst role. This position requires deep SAP master data expertise and proven migration execution experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assessment and remediation of SAP master data across multiple plants
- Execute ECC to S4 HANA data migration activities
- Cleanse and standardize Material Master, BOM, Vendor, Customer, and MRP data
- Define mapping logic, transformation rules, and validation frameworks
- Perform data loads using LSMW, LTMC, Migration Cockpit, BAPI, or IDoc
- Support mock conversions, reconciliation cycles, and cutover execution
- Partner with MM, SD, PP, and FI functional teams to align data structures
- Support U.S. plant validation workshops during EST overlap hours
- Document data standards, business rules, and governance processes
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of SAP master data experience
- Direct participation in at least one full SAP migration or ECC to S4 HANA conversion
- Strong manufacturing industry background
- Deep expertise in Material Master and Bill of Materials
- Experience managing Vendor and Customer master data at scale
- Hands on experience with SAP migration tools including LSMW, LTMC, Migration Cockpit, BAPI, or IDoc
- Experience supporting mock loads, reconciliation, and defect resolution
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to overlap minimum 3 to 4 hours daily with U.S. EST
Preferred
- Experience in global template rollouts
- Exposure to master data governance or MDM programs
- Experience working directly with U.S. manufacturing stakeholders
