We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration) to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in integrating SAP S/4HANA with cloud and on-premise applications and possess strong technical knowledge of SAP integration technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support integrations between SAP S/4HANA, cloud applications, and third-party systems.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom CPI Integration Flows (iFlows).
- Analyze functional requirements and prepare technical design documents.
- Configure and manage SAP Cloud Connector for secure connectivity with on-premise systems.
- Develop and manage APIs using SAP API Management and API Portal.
- Perform issue analysis, bug fixing, testing, and production support activities.
- Manage deployment and transportation of CPI and API Management artifacts using CTS+ or TMS.
- Ensure adherence to integration standards, security policies, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP CPI development and support.
- Strong experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration).
- Expertise in API Management, API Portal, Business Hub, and Open Connectors.
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA using REST, SOAP, and OData APIs.
- Proficiency in CPI adapters including:
- OData
- SOAP
- REST
- SFTP/FTP
- IDOC
- RFC/BAPI
- JDBC
- AMQP
- XI Proxy
- Process Direct
- Hands-on experience with Groovy and Java scripting.
- Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, and XSLT.
- Experience with message mapping, UDF development, and data transformation techniques.
- Expertise in exception handling, monitoring, retry mechanisms, and error notifications.
- Knowledge of security artifacts, authentication methods, encryption, and decryption techniques.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP PI/PO.
- Knowledge of EDI, ALE/IDOC, and API-based integrations.
- Experience with SAP API Management and integration governance.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in both project implementation and application support environments.
