Senior Sap Co Consultant COPA and Product costing

Responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Controlling (CO) modules including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and Overhead Controlling. Lead end-to-end CO and CO-PA processes, product costing, financial planning, and profitability analysis while ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance and related modules.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP CO & CO-PA Implementation:

• Configure and support SAP Controlling modules: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and Overhead Controlling.
• Implement COPA (Costing-based & Account-based), including value fields, characteristics, operating concern design, allocations, and reporting.

Product Costing & Material Ledger:

• Configure and manage Product Costing (Discrete/Process) processes including standard costing, actual costing, cost estimates, BOM/Routing analysis, WIP, variances, and Material Ledger.
• Ensure accurate integration of CO with MM, PP, and SD modules for pricing, settlement, and inventory valuation.

SAP S/4HANA Finance Integration:

• Work with Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Margin Analysis, and HANA-based CO reporting.
• Design and deploy Fiori apps and CDS views for real-time reporting.

Financial Planning & Profitability Analysis:

• Support budgeting, cost allocation cycles, and profitability analysis within SAP CO and CO-PA.
• Perform variance analysis and month-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

End-to-End Project Management:

• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support for CO/CO-PA projects.
• Document configuration and business processes for future reference.

Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide L3 support for CO/CO-PA issues, including variance analysis, reconciliations, and real-time reporting troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve system and process issues efficiently.

Agile Delivery & Documentation:

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies for CO/CO-PA projects.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and configuration documentation for stakeholders.
