Senior SAP BW IP Consultant

The SAP Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP ECC and SAP BW-IP solutions. The role involves understanding business requirements, designing solutions, performing functional testing, supporting end-users, and enabling integration across multiple SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the business requirements of the organization and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Prepare the Blueprint and functional design documents for project implementation.
• Execute SAP project implementation and configuration across multiple geographies.
• Validate report requirements and customizations to ensure accurate and reliable outputs.
• Perform functional testing, integration testing, and support end-user training.
• Address day-to-day queries and provide ongoing support and enhancements based on user requirements.
• Manage IT and access requirements to meet specific organizational needs.
• Review and prioritize service requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with enterprise support groups and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Perform data mapping from source systems to target SAP environments.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify differences between As-Is and To-Be processes.
• Develop SAP BW-IP dataflows in S/4HANA systems, including input-ready and read-only queries.
• Debug ABAP classes, function modules, custom planning functions, and user exits related to BW-IP.
• Apply change management processes for FPT, ensuring minimal disruption during updates.
• Participate in Agile project delivery, including backlog planning, sprint execution, retrospectives, and deployment.

Must-Have Experience

• SAP functional consulting experience configuring and deploying ECC and SAP BW-IP.
• Experience with implementation projects across multiple geographies.
• Strong experience leading requirement gathering, design, and development processes.
• Experience in integration with other SAP functional areas.
• Understanding of BW-IP objects such as Aggregation Levels, Planning Filters, Planning Functions, Planning Sequences, and AMDP.
• Basic understanding of data modeling between BW 7.4 on HANA and native HANA using Composite Providers & ADSO.

Good-to-Have

• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Experience working with workflow tools and supporting technical SAP teams.
• Familiarity with Agile principles and practices, including sprints and retrospectives.
• Willingness to work flexible timings as per project requirements.
• Understanding of industry and competitive trends impacting SAP implementation.
