The Senior SAP BW Developer/Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level data warehousing and reporting solutions using SAP BW on HANA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data modeling, ABAP development, data extraction, and migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA systems. This role demands a strong technical foundation, analytical mindset, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient BI solutions.

• Data Modeling:
• Design and develop advanced data models using Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs) and Composite Providers within Eclipse BW Modeling Tools.
• Optimize data models for performance and reusability.
• Data Extraction:
• Develop and enhance data extraction processes from SAP ECC and S/4HANA source systems.
• Create custom generic extractors using function modules or database views.
• Enhance and maintain standard Business Content DataSources (e.g., 2LIS_* for logistics).
• Utilize and implement BAdIs and BAPIs for custom enhancements.
• Transformations & Routines:
• Write complex ABAP routines (Start, End, and Field routines) for data transformation.
• Implement logic to meet business-specific data processing requirements.
• Query & Report Development:
• Develop BEx Queries and Reports using calculated and restricted key figures, variables, and formulas.
• Translate business reporting needs into technical specifications and deliver user-friendly BI solutions.
• BW on HANA / BW/4HANA Migration:
• Support and execute migration from BW on ECC to BW/4HANA environments.
• Lead or assist in source system transitions from ECC to S/4HANA.
• ABAP & CDS Views:
• Develop custom ABAP programs and enhancements within BW.
• Work with CDS Views for modern and efficient data provisioning and integration.
• Support & Maintenance:
• Monitor and troubleshoot process chains and data load issues.
• Provide production support and ensure high system availability.
• Documentation:
• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation for all BW processes and developments.
