Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Expert with strong hands-on expertise in SAP BW/SAP BI and SAP ABAP. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SAP BW solutions to meet business reporting, data integration, and analytics requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SAP BW architecture, data modelling, reporting, data extraction, and performance optimization, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with functional and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW objects, including InfoObjects, DataStore Objects (DSOs), InfoCubes, and CompositeProviders.
• Develop and enhance BEx queries using BEx Query Designer based on business reporting requirements.
• Design and implement data flows, transformations, Data Transfer Processes (DTPs), and process chains.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot data loads and process chains to ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Analyze and resolve data loading, transformation, reporting, and performance-related issues.
• Develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs, routines, user exits, and other enhancements required for SAP BW solutions.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions.
• Provide production support and ensure timely resolution of incidents, defects, and service requests.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, data flow diagrams, process documentation, and user guides.
• Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Ensure compliance with SAP BW development standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW/SAP BI development and support.
• Good understanding of SAP BW architecture, data modelling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.
• Strong experience in BEx Query Designer and SAP BW reporting solutions.
• Good knowledge of SAP ABAP, including debugging, routines, enhancements, and performance optimization.
• Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting data loads, process chains, and BW data flows.
• Strong understanding of data extraction and integration from SAP and non-SAP source systems.
• Experience in performance tuning and resolving production issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA modelling and performance optimization.
• Exposure to modern SAP reporting and analytics tools.
• Experience working on end-to-end SAP implementation, migration, and support projects.
