Job Description: SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP WM Functional Consultant for a strategic 6 to 12-month contract. This role is 100% remote (Pan-India) and involves optimizing complex warehouse operations, streamlining inventory workflows, and supporting business-critical logistics processes.
Role Overview
- Position: SAP WM Functional Consultant
- Contract Duration: 6–12 Months (Extendable based on performance/project needs)

Key Responsibilities
- Configuration & Implementation: Lead the end-to-end configuration of SAP WM modules, including Storage Type, Storage Section, Storage Bin structure, and Putaway/Picking strategies.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement solutions for Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Transfer Requirements (TR), Transfer Orders (TO), and Posting Change Notices (PCN).
- Technical Integration: Work closely with ABAP developers to create Functional Specifications (FS) for custom RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
- Cross-Module Collaboration: Ensure seamless integration between SAP WM and other modules like MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and PP (Production Planning).
- RF & Mobile Integration: Configure Radio Frequency (RF) Gun functionality and mobile data entry for real-time warehouse execution.
- Support & Maintenance: Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of core SAP WM functional experience.
- Technical Depth:
- Deep understanding of Inventory Management (IM) and its interface with WM.
- Experience with Physical Inventory (PI) procedures and Cycle Counting.
- Knowledge of LSMW or BDC for data migration.
- Functional Expertise: Proven track record in at least 2 end-to-end implementation cycles or major upgrade projects.
- Nice-to-Have: * Familiarity with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) or S/4HANA conversions.
- Experience in the Retail, Manufacturing, or Pharma industries.
