Role Overview

As a Senior SAP BTP Security Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing the security architecture of our SAP Business Technology Platform environment. With

5-7 years of experience in SAP Security, you will lead the integration of SAP Cloud Identity Services, manage platform and business user authorizations, and ensure compliance across multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) landscapes. You will play a critical role in securing the four pillars of BTP: App Development, Integration, Data & Analytics, and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Architecture: Design and implement the security framework for BTP subaccounts, ensuring proper isolation between Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Identity Management: Lead the configuration of SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) and establish trust with corporate Identity Providers.
• Access Control: Build and govern Role Collections and user assignments across Cloud and ABAP environments using Least Privilege principles.
• Secure Connectivity: Configure and maintain SAP Cloud Connector, Destinations, and Principal Propagation for secure hybrid-cloud communication.
• Governance & Auditing: Enable and monitor platform security logs (Audit Log Service) to ensure compliance with internal risk and data privacy standards.
• Technical Advisory: Provide Security by Design guidance to developers and lead the resolution of complex security escalations or integration issues.

Required Technical Skills

• SAP BTP Core: Deep understanding of BTP Cockpit, Subaccount management, and Environment configurations.
• Security Protocols: Expert knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT tokens.
• Cloud Identity: Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) is mandatory.
• Connectivity: Proficiency in configuring SAP Cloud Connector and Principal Propagation.
• Integration Security: Experience securing APIs within the SAP Integration Suite (API Management)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• SAP Security or GRC certification is a plus.
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, manufacturing) is desirable.
