Senior SAP BTP consultant

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• Consultant with expertise in BTP, CAP, low-code/no- code and pro code application development using SAP Build Apps and Node.js.
• Build and deploy custom applications using SAP Build Apps for extended functionality.
• Experience with Node.js and/or Java to develop business logic.
• Strong UI development experience with HTML5, SAPUI5/Fiori Elements.
• Hands-on experience with side-by-side extensibility patterns, integrating with SAP BTP.
• Programming Language and skills e.g. ABAP, Java & JavaScript.
• Strong UI development experience with HTML5, SAP UI5/ Fiori Elements.
• Development in SAP BTP with CAPM and RESTful ABAP Programming Model.
• Good knowledge of S/4 HANA Extensibility Model ( Key User Extensibility, On-stack Developer Extensibility , Side-by-side Extensibility )
• Experience in software design and architecture.
• Hands-on experience of tools like SAP ABAP Development Tools ( ADT ) & SAP Business Application Studio , Artificial Intelligence know how is a plus.
• Experience and understanding on BTP Solutions, leading and guidance to the team.

Good-to-Have (Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

• Exposure to Agile Way of Working and Azure Dev-Ops tool.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of applications (Logs / Traces).
• Experience in exposing services via OData and REST APIs and integrating with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, and Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in developing Fiori Elements / SAPUI5 apps (OData V2 & V4).

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Design, develop, and implement cloud-native applications usingSAP CAPonSAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Integrate SAP CAP applications with other SAP solutions such asSAP S/4HANA,SAP Fiori, andSAP HANA.
• Understand business requirements, create solution briefs and articulate the end-to-end process design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform custom development activities, including application design and coding to transform business requirements into technical design.
• Prepare technical specification & Unit testing.
• Performing unit testing (custom development) in development.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and experience in working in collaborative team environments.
