As a Senior SAP Basis Consultan t, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of a global SAP landscape comprising 45+ systems hosted across on-premise, public, and private cloud environments. Your expertise will directly contribute to seamless business operations, secure system environments, and successful implementation of innovative solutions. By driving operational excellence and supporting strategic initiatives, you will help shape the future of our SAP ecosystem and enable business growth worldwide.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing daily operations and performing quality checks across ABAP and Java systems.
- Conducting performance tuning and optimizing system efficiency.
- Executing application SP-stack upgrades and release upgrades.
- Handling SAP security tasks, including SSO, audits, and implementing security notes.
- Building Proof of Concepts and implementing new products or add-ons.
- Coordinating with multiple vendors, including SAP Rise, to ensure smooth operations.
- Leading or managing minor projects spanning multiple systems and collaborating with global team members.
- Participating in on-call duties approximately 45 weeks per year.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 6+ years in SAP Basis administration with hands-on expertise in ABAP and Java systems.
- Technical Skills: Initial exposure to SAP BTP, strong knowledge of security topics, and experience in evaluating and implementing security notes.
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with Linux SLES, ASE, MSSQL, Windows Clustering, and heterogeneous system copies.
- Mindset: A proactive, collaborative professional who thrives in a global team environment and is eager to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
- Leadership: Ability to manage small projects independently and coordinate across multiple systems.
