Description
We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ABAP development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in SAP environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and enhancements in SAP systems.
- Perform debugging, testing, and documentation of ABAP applications.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements.
- Provide support for SAP upgrades and new implementations.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in ABAP programming practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10-20 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and development tools.
- Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.
- Experience with ABAP Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Knowledge of integrating SAP with other systems (IDOC, BAPI, RFC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
