*Role Overview*
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solution Architect to
lead solution design, architecture, and technical governance for a large-scale
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Advanced implementation at an international enterprise.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Lead overall solution architecture, technical design, and implementation
strategy for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Advanced and related Salesforce
ecosystem components
- Define scalable, secure, and business-aligned marketing automation
architectures and integration strategies
- Lead architecture discovery workshops with business stakeholders,
technical teams, and implementation partners
- Design and oversee unified subscriber/customer profile models leveraging
Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and Data Cloud
- Define audience segmentation frameworks, communication orchestration
models, and personalization strategies
- Architect and lead integration of Marketing Cloud with enterprise systems,
web platforms, APIs, middleware, and external data sources
- Define technical standards, governance frameworks, security controls, and
best practices for the Marketing Cloud environment
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across configuration, development,
testing, deployment, and support phases
- Review and validate technical designs, integrations, and custom
developments for quality, scalability, and compliance
- Guide implementation of communication preference management,
consent management, and data governance processes
- Lead email deliverability standards, engagement optimization strategies, and
campaign performance frameworks
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex architectural and integration
issues
- Prepare and maintain solution architecture documentation, integration
diagrams, governance standards, and implementation guidelines
- Support project planning, effort estimation, risk management, and roadmap
definition
- Identify and leverage AI tools / agents for Marketing Cloud use cases
- Provide technical mentorship and lead knowledge transfer to internal teams
and implementation resources
*Essential Requirements*

A1 University degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software
Engineering, or related field
A2 Mandatory: Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (specific certifications
must be clearly listed on CV)
A3 Minimum 7 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise
Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM solutions
A4 Proven experience defining solution architecture for marketing automation,
customer engagement, and subscriber management platforms

Strong experience designing enterprise integrations between Salesforce
Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, Data Cloud, and external systems using
APIs and middleware
A6 Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security,
governance, and scalable cloud solution design
A7 Experience leading complex Salesforce implementation projects and
coordinating cross-functional technical teams
A8 Experience with audience data models, segmentation strategies, identity
resolution, and unified subscriber/customer profile architectures

Deep hands-on knowledge of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation
Studio, Contact Builder, CloudPages, AMPscript, SQL, and personalization
