Position Summary In an ever‑evolving Salesforce ecosystem, WillScot India IT GCC is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience supporting scalable, secure, and efficient CI/CD pipelines across complex Salesforce environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing DevOps best practices, enhancing deployment automation, ensuring code quality, and enabling a smooth and reliable release management process for Salesforce applications. This role requires strong expertise in Salesforce Metadata, SFDX, Git‑based workflows, deployment automation tools, and environment management. The Salesforce DevOps Engineer will collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Architects, QA, and Release Managers to deliver high‑quality, well‑governed solutions in an Agile delivery model.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple Salesforce orgs using tools such as Copado, Salesforce CLI, and other deployment tools.
• Use SFDX, source‑driven development, and unlocked packages to support modular, scalable Salesforce development.
• Manage version control repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, and code merging to support multi‑team development.
• Coordinate and execute deployments across sandboxes and production using automated tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Flosum) or custom pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the deployment process to reduce failures and improve performance.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Developers and Technical Leads to enforce coding standards, code review processes, and metadata governance.
• Implement DevOps best practices for test automation, static code analysis, security scanning, and validation.
• Manage Salesforce environments, including sandbox creation, refresh cycles, data masking, seeding, and org configuration.
• Ensure proper release documentation, deployment plans, and rollback strategies.
• Support integration of Salesforce with external systems through API deployments, environment configurations, and CI/CD automation.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for deployment issues, build failures, version control conflicts, and environment‑related problems.
• Support the enforcement of SOX compliance and governance standards in the deployment process.
• Maintain documentation including DevOps runbooks, architecture diagrams, and release processes.
• Report status, risks, and bottlenecks to the Salesforce Release & DevOps Manager.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, DevOps tooling enhancements, and industry best practices.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Qualification:
• Education Level: Bachelor's degree
• Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's degree with IT‑related experience
• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development or DevOps engineering
• Strong hands‑on experience with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Flosum, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD)
• Proficiency with Salesforce DX, unlocked packages, and source‑driven development
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket)
• Monitoring and Logging Tools: Tools to track deployment health and performance.
• Salesforce Platforms: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and related Salesforce products. • Strong understanding of Salesforce Metadata, APIs, and deployment models
• Experience working in Agile – Scrum environments
• Familiarity with test automation tools, PMD/static code analysis, and automation frameworks
• Knowledge of REST & SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and integration lifecycle management
• Understanding of security, change management, and release governance best practices
