YOUR ROLE:
As a Full Stack Marketing Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering data-driven, personalized marketing campaigns by combining strong Salesforce Marketing Cloud execution with SQL-based data modeling and segmentation.
You will work across the full campaign lifecycle — from audience creation and data preparation to journey orchestration, deployment, and QA, with occasional client interaction to support delivery and alignment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campaign Execution & Personalization
- Build, configure, and optimize customer journeys using Journey Builder.
- Develop and maintain dynamic, personalized email templates using HTML, CSS, AMPScript, and SSJS.
- Ensure accurate campaign setup, scheduling, and deployment aligned with client requirements.
- Perform end-to-end QA on campaigns (content, logic, data, rendering).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email rendering, personalization, and delivery.
Data & SQL (Core Focus)
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries (joins, aggregations, incremental logic) for audience segmentation, data transformations, and campaign targeting.
- Design and manage Data Extensions and relational data models.
- Maintain and optimize data structures within Contact Builder and Data Designer.
- Design and manage scalable automation workflows in Automation Studio (data imports, query orchestration, segmentation pipelines, and scheduling).
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across campaigns.
Development & Digital Assets
- Build and update CloudPages and landing pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensure responsive design and compatibility across devices and email clients.
- Maintain reusable code components and templates for scalability.
- Create reusable frameworks for segmentation, templates, and automations to improve efficiency and consistency.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate with strategists, analysts, and creatives to deliver personalized customer experiences.
- Support client interactions when required (clarifications, demos, troubleshooting).
- Manage multiple campaigns/projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices in campaign execution and data handling.
- Support campaign performance tracking and suggest optimizations based on data insights.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
- BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 4–6+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- SFMC Certified
- Proven experience in:
- End-to-end campaign execution
- SQL-driven audience segmentation
- Email development and personalization
- Hands-on experience with Automation Studio workflows and data pipelines
- Experience building responsive email and landing page templates
- Strong understanding of email client rendering and deliverability considerations
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with data-driven marketing and customer lifecycle campaigns
- Familiarity with version control best practices
- Basic knowledge of design tools (Photoshop, Figma, Sketch)
- Understanding of accessibility and modern web standards
