Job Description

Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer (Sales & Service Cloud)

Location: NxtWave Office, Hyderabad

Work Schedule: 5 days/week

Mode: Work from Office

Compensation: As per industry standards

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce expert who can architect, design, and deliver end-to-end solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This role requires someone who combines deep platform expertise, strong data architecture skills, and solution ownership.

You will be the single point authority on Salesforce within the orgguiding junior developers and admins, setting best practices, ensuring architectural integrity, and building scalable systems that directly enable revenue, productivity, and student experience.

This is a high-impact role where your solutions become the foundation for NxtWave's CRM-driven growth engine.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Architecture & Solution Design

  • Own end-to-end solution design across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom platform capabilities.
  • Architect scalable systems - data models, automation frameworks, integration patterns, and process flows.
  • Translate business requirements into high-quality technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Maintain architectural governance: enforce best practices, platform limits, and security standards.

Hands-on Development & Technical Leadership

  • Develop using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batches, Queues, Platform Events, etc.
  • Design robust data models and manage complex sharing rules, role hierarchies, permission sets, and object relationships.
  • Build reusable components, automation libraries, and frameworks for the dev team.
  • Lead code reviews, technical walkthroughs, and ensure adherence to scalable coding practices.

Data Management, Quality & Integrations

  • Design and maintain clean, normalized, high-integrity datasets across Sales & Service Cloud.
  • Oversee data migrations, cleansing efforts, ETL integrations, and API-based connections with internal/external systems.
  • Implement monitoring dashboardsdata quality, performance metrics, automation health, and adoption insights.

Platform Ownership & Continuous Innovation

  • Act as the platform SME: resolve escalations, guide admins, and support complex system decisions.
  • Own release cyclessandbox strategy, deployments (CI/CD), versioning, documentation, and regression oversight.
  • Identify automation opportunities, workflow optimizations, and next-gen CRM capabilities (AI, personalization, forecasting enhancements).
  • Drive innovation by exploring new Salesforce features, AppExchange tools, and emerging best practices.

Team Enablement & Knowledge Leadership

  • Support junior Salesforce developers and admins in building scalable solutions.
  • Build and maintain internal Salesforce knowledge repositories, reusable templates, and architectural guidelines.
  • Upskill cross-functional teams on CRM capabilities, adoption strategies, and feature usage.

Required Qualifications

  • 2.5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Deep expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform data modeling.
  • Strong command of Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, APIs, Integration patterns, and Security model.
  • Experience as a solution designer, technical lead, or architect.
  • Proven track record building complex, scalable Salesforce systems.
