Senior Salesforce Developer

Specializing in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Industries/Vlocity, Field Service, LWC, Apex, and REST APIs integration.

Background

• 3–5+ years working hands-on with Salesforce development
• Worked in enterprise environments and knowledge around multiple orgs (DEV, UAT, PROD)
• Comfortable maintaining and improving existing applications—not just building from scratch
• Can jump into complex codebases without getting overwhelmed
• Understand ITIL/ALM processes (incident management, change control, etc.)
• Worked in high-volume or regulated industries

Salesforce Expertise

• Sales Cloud

· Deep knowledge of Leads, Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities

· Experience customizing sales processes and pipelines

· Proficient with Flows, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes

· Able to take complex sales workflows and make them better

• Service Cloud

· Case Management is second nature

· Experience setting up Omnichannel routing, queues, and escalations

· Comfortable customizing the Service Console

· Knowledge of Knowledge Base configuration

· CTI integrations experience is a plus

• Salesforce Industries/Vlocity

· Real experience with DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, OmniScripts, and FlexCards

· Able to maintain and optimize existing Vlocity solutions without breaking things

· Understanding of data models and best practices

· Understanding of catalog, products, pricelists and promotions management

· Deployment experience is a nice-to-have

• Field Service Lightning

· Experience with Work Orders, Service Appointments, and scheduling

· Knowledge of integrating FSL with Sales and Service Cloud

Technical Skills

• Apex Development

· Writes clean, bulkified code

· Comfortable with async Apex (Batch, Queueable, Future methods)

· Understanding of Governor Limits and how to work within them

· Can debug production issues independently

• Lightning Web Components

· Builds and maintains reusable components

· Knowledge of Lightning Data Service and component communication

· Can optimize performance and fix production bugs

· Experience integrating LWCs with Apex and Vlocity

• Integrations & APIs

· REST APIs are familiar territory

· Experience building custom Apex REST services

· Understanding of OAuth 2.0

· Background connecting Salesforce with ERPs, billing systems, and legacy platforms

· Can troubleshoot integration failures from start to finish

• DevOps & Deployment

· Git is part of the daily workflow (branching, code reviews, pull requests)

· Experience with Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines

· Can handle hotfixes and emergency releases independently

· Understanding of deployment best practices

· GitHub knowledge is a plus

• Quality & Testing

· Cares about code quality

· Writes meaningful Apex unit tests (not just to hit 75% coverage)

· Validates fixes thoroughly before they go live
