Senior Salesforce Developer – FinancialForce (Certinia)

The Senior Salesforce Developer will play a pivotal role in leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the FinancialForce (Certinia) platform. With over 8 years of professional experience, the successful candidate will utilize advanced technical expertise and a solutions-driven approach to deliver robust, scalable solutions that enhance business operations. This position demands a strategic problem-solver capable of guiding teams and championing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of the FinancialForce (Certinia) platform, leveraging deep technical expertise.
• Oversee maintenance, configuration, and advanced troubleshooting of FinancialForce (Certinia) modules, including resolution of end user requests, incident tickets, process changes, and routine system maintenance.
• Administer and enhance user access, security settings, application configuration, and continuous improvement of the FinancialForce (Certinia) tool, focusing on scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with business segments and technology teams to architect and implement new business processes, providing expert guidance on best practices.
• Customize FinancialForce (Certinia) to meet evolving business needs; create complex custom objects, fields, and formulas, and optimize existing configurations.
• Proactively identify, design, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the platform.
• Remain up-to-date with new FinancialForce (Certinia) features and functionalities, evaluating and recommending platform enhancements.
• Develop and deliver advanced training, comprehensive documentation, and expert support to users.
• Ensure system integrity and security at an enterprise level, manage user roles and profiles, and conduct thorough system audits for compliance and data protection.

Must Have Skills

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with significant focus on FinancialForce (Certinia).
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex business solutions within Salesforce and FinancialForce (Certinia).
• Expertise in customizing objects, fields, formulas, workflows, and process builders.
• Extensive experience in platform maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• In-depth understanding of user access management, security settings, and enterprise-level system administration.
• Ability to develop and deliver user training and comprehensive documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated solutions-oriented and problem-solving mindset.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Certinia (FinancialForce) modules including PSA, Accounting, and Billing.
• Knowledge of integration tools such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or Dell Boomi.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Exposure to agile project management methodologies.
• Background in mentoring junior developers and leading technical teams.
• Understanding of data migration tools and techniques.

Certifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I & II (required)
• Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred)
• FinancialForce or Certinia certifications (highly regarded)
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (a strong plus)
