Job Description

Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer/Administration

Location: Bangalore Bhartiya City Tech Park

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Type: Full time/ Permanent

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days.

Transportation: 2-way cab will be provided

I. Job Summary:

The Sr. Salesforce Developer / Administrator will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of Salesforce Service Cloud solutions. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, project leads, and IT teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that enhance customer service operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong functional and technical Salesforce expert with hands-on experience in Service Cloud, integrations, and platform administration.

II. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Service Cloud solutions aligned with business requirements
  • Build and manage integrations using Salesforce APIs, web services, and third-party integration tools
  • Perform Salesforce administration activities including user management, security configurations, workflows, approvals, dashboards, reports, and data management
  • Configure and customize Salesforce using tools such as Process Builder, Flows, Lightning App/Page Management, and AppExchange apps
  • Develop Apex classes, triggers, batch Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
  • Lead analysis of business problems and recommend effective Salesforce-based solutions
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, validate, and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Support Service Cloud capabilities including Case Management, Knowledge, Omni-Channel routing, CTI/Voice integrations, Communities, Salesforce Chat, and Distributed Marketing
  • Participate in Agile delivery processes, including estimation, sprint planning, testing, and releases
  • Coordinate release documentation, deployment activities, and stakeholder communications
  • Provide ongoing application support including enhancements, incident resolution, and change management
  • Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams including Salesforce administrators, developers, and IT partners
  • Ensure best practices for Salesforce deployments using change sets and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps or GearSet

III. Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems design, analysis, and application development
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud

IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I/II are preferred

V. Skill Set Required:

Must Have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Salesforce development expertise: Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning (LWC/Aura), Visualforce
  • Salesforce administration skills including security, profiles, roles, workflows, Flows, reports, and dashboards
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs, integrations, and large data sets
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform limitations
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with CTI/Voice integrations and Omni-Channel routing
  • Exposure to Salesforce Communities and Distributed Marketing
  • Experience with GearSet, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
  • Prior experience supporting multiple Salesforce initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
