Role Description The Senior Salesforce Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that support DiggyPOD's self-publishing and book printing operations. This role involves translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce architectures, customizing Salesforce objects, flows, and integrations, and optimizing existing configurations for performance and usability. The Senior Salesforce Developer will collaborate closely with product, operations, and customer support teams to improve workflows such as order management, customer onboarding, and author engagement. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and API integrations, as well as managing deployments, testing changes, and ensuring data integrity and security. The role also includes mentoring other team members, contributing to technical standards, and proactively proposing enhancements that improve efficiency and author experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Salesforce development skills, including Apex (classes, triggers), Lightning Web Components or Aura components, and Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, flows, validation rules).
• Candidates should possess solid integration and data management skills, such as REST/SOAP APIs, middleware or ETL tools, data migration, and understanding of Salesforce security and sharing models.
• Candidates should possess experience with application lifecycle management, including version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, sandbox management, testing frameworks, and deployment best practices.
• Candidates should possess analytical and collaboration skills, including requirements gathering, translating business needs into technical solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Candidates should possess relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator) or equivalent demonstrated expertise, along with several years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in a production environment.
• Candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work independently in a remote setting, a focus on clean, maintainable code, and familiarity with the publishing, e-commerce, or SaaS domain is beneficial.
