Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer with deep, hands-on expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ, who has moved into building AI-driven experiences on the platform using Agentforce. The ideal candidate combines strong core Salesforce engineering fundamentals with practical experience designing, deploying, and governing autonomous and assistive AI agents in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including custom Apex, LWC, Flows, and integrations.
• Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ — product rules, price rules, discount schedules, quote templates, and approval processes.
• Build, configure, and deploy Agentforce agents: topics, actions, instructions, and guardrails, integrating with the Atlas Reasoning Engine and Data Cloud where applicable.
• Develop custom Agentforce actions using Apex, Flows, and prompt templates; ground agent responses with retrieval over CRM and external data.
• Implement and tune Prompt Builder templates, Einstein / Models API usage, and grounding strategies for accuracy and safety.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware (MuleSoft a plus).
• Establish testing, observability, and governance practices for AI agents (evaluation, hallucination control, fallback handling, audit trails).
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and release management; mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with architects, admins, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-governed solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud configuration and customization.
• Proven CPQ implementation experience (product/price/discount rules, bundles, quote lifecycle).
• Demonstrated experience building and deploying Agentforce agents in real projects (not just POCs).
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Flow.
• Working knowledge of Prompt Builder, Einstein Generative AI features, and grounding with Data Cloud.
• Understanding of LLM concepts relevant to enterprise AI: prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, guardrails, and evaluation.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD for Salesforce (Copado, Gearset, or similar).
• Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II required; Agentforce Specialist, Sales Cloud / Service Cloud Consultant, and CPQ Specialist strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Data Cloud implementation experience.
• MuleSoft / Anypoint integration experience.
• Exposure to AgentOps practices and AI agent monitoring.
• Experience in a consulting or product-engineering environment.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
