Role: Senior Salesforce Developer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and lead-caliber Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team on-site at our Chennai office. In this role, you will lead the design, architecture, and hands-on development of scalable Salesforce solutions across core platform components, Communications Cloud, and OmniStudio.
As a senior team member, you will take ownership of complex technical challenges, lead architecture reviews, mentor junior developers, and work closely on-site with cross-functional teams (Salesforce Administrators, Business Analysts, and System Architects) to deliver high-impact enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Senior-Level Development: Architect, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and advanced declarative tools.
- Communications Cloud & OmniStudio Leadership: Customize and optimize Salesforce Communications Cloud, Industries CPQ, Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC), and OmniStudio components (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures).
- Enterprise Integrations: Design, build, and maintain high-volume, secure integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware platforms.
- Scalable Architecture & Automation: Establish design patterns for complex, high-throughput automation using Apex, Salesforce Flows, Queueable Apex, Batch Apex, and Scheduled Apex.
- Technical Ownership & Code Quality: Lead code and architecture reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure solution performance, security, and scalability.
- Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly on-site with Business Analysts, Admins, and product owners to translate enterprise needs into scalable technical designs.
- Troubleshooting & Mentorship: Serve as the escalation point for complex production issues; mentor and guide junior/mid-level developers on the team.
- Deployment & DevOps Pipeline: Drive release cycles and sandbox management using Git-based source control and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Technical Documentation: Author and maintain architectural blueprints, technical design specifications, integration patterns, and deployment runbooks.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with demonstrated leadership in technical solution design.
- Strong expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Hands-on experience building complex REST and SOAP API integrations.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, Lightning App Builder, security/permission models).
- Experience managing release engineering using Git and Salesforce CI/CD workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and system design skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical architectures to both executive leadership and engineering teams.
- Ability to work full-time on-site from our office in Chennai.
Preferred Qualifications & Industry Experience
- Certifications:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II (Required / Highly Preferred)
- Salesforce System Architect / Application Architect (Bonus)
- Salesforce Administrator
- Domain & Cloud Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud, OmniStudio, Industries CPQ, and Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC).
- Experience with DevOps tools like DevOps Center, Gearset, Copado, or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE / Pardot).
- Industry Background: Prior experience in the Telecom, ISP, Cable, or Wireless sectors.
