Job Summary
We are looking for a
Salesforce Billing professional with 46 years of experience to support and enhance end-to-end
Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) implementations using
Salesforce Billing, integrated with
Salesforce CPQ and Order Management. The role requires strong hands-on configuration and development skills, along with the ability to work closely with business and finance teams to deliver reliable billing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Billing (Core Focus)
- Configure and support Salesforce Billing for subscription, one-time, and usage-based billing models
- Set up and maintain:
- Billing rules, billing schedules, and invoice generation
- Credit notes, adjustments, and billing exceptions
- Support proration, multi-currency, and taxation scenarios
- Assist in billing runs, invoicing cycles, and reconciliation activities
CPQ & Order Management (Associated Experience)
- Work with Salesforce CPQ to ensure smooth Quote-to-Cash flow:
- Product and price configuration
- Discounts, bundles, and contract creation
- Support Order Management processes:
- Order capture, activation, and lifecycle updates
- Troubleshoot data and process issues across CPQ, Orders, and Billing
Development & Automation
- Build and enhance automation using Salesforce Flows
- Develop custom logic using Apex where standard configuration is insufficient
- Create and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) for billing-related UI enhancements
- Participate in performance tuning and optimization
Integrations & Data Handling
- Support integrations with:
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.)
- Payment gateways and tax systems
- Assist with API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) and middleware solutions
- Ensure data consistency between Salesforce and downstream finance systems
Reporting & Support
- Build and maintain billing and finance-related reports and dashboards
- Support month-end and quarter-end billing activities
- Provide L2/L3 production support and root-cause analysis
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
- 24 years of hands-on Salesforce Billing experience
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes
- Experience working with Salesforce CPQ
- Salesforce configuration experience (objects, flows, validation rules)
- Working knowledge of Apex and Salesforce automation
- Experience with system integrations
Good-to-Have / Associated Experience
- Exposure to Salesforce Order Management
- Understanding of revenue recognition concepts (ASC 606 / IFRS 15 exposure level)
- ERP or finance system integrations
- Experience with middleware tools (MuleSoft, Boomi)
- CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Flosum)
Certifications (Preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Billing Specialist (or in progress)
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
