About the Role :
Wits Innovation Lab is looking for a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, youll build, customize, and enhance Salesforce applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components
- Customize Salesforce objects, flows, validation rules, dashboards, and workflows
- Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
- Collaborate with product, QA, and business teams to understand and implement requirements
- Perform code reviews and follow Salesforce best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and improve existing solutions
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, tools, and platform updates
- Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps processes related to Salesforce deployments
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer
- Strong knowledge of Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL
- Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP)
- Practical knowledge of Salesforce Flows & Declarative Tools
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodology
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification is mandatory
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Platform Developer II / Architect track certifications
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Understanding of Salesforce security, profiles, permission sets, and governance
