Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to design, develop, and support scalable eCommerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SFRA, JavaScript, cartridge development, integrations, and modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code. The role requires close collaboration with architects, business stakeholders, QA teams, and offshore/onshore development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain eCommerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• Develop and customize storefront functionality using Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
• Create and enhance custom cartridges, controllers, pipelines, jobs, and integrations.
• Develop reusable components and optimize application performance.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end experiences.
• Integrate SFCC with third-party systems such as payment gateways, OMS, CRM, ERP, tax engines, and marketing platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring platform stability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices.
• Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support CI/CD implementation and release management activities.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of overall software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce).
• Strong experience with:
• SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture)
• JavaScript (ES6+)
• HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• ISML Templates
• Controllers and Middleware
• OCAPI and SCAPI
• Business Manager
• Custom Cartridge Development
• Strong understanding of eCommerce architecture and best practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of payment gateway integrations such as Adyen, PayPal, Stripe, or CyberSource.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

AI & Modern Development Skills (Preferred)

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for:
• Code generation and optimization
• Refactoring and debugging
• Unit test creation
• Technical documentation generation
• Code reviews and quality improvements
• Experience applying AI-assisted development practices in SFCC projects.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and effective AI-assisted software development workflows.
• Exposure to integrating AI services and Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of responsible AI usage, governance, and secure coding practices.

• Knowledge of Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.

• SFCC certification(s) preferred.

• Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer
• Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Architect
• AI-assisted development tool experience (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
