DESCRIPTION:
Join us as a Senior Sales Manager- Water Analysis Instruments (WAI) business is a key part of Thermo Fisher Scientific's Analytical Instruments segment, focused on providing advanced solutions for the measurement, monitoring, and analysis of water quality. WAI supports customers across environmental, industrial, municipal, and research markets by delivering reliable, accurate, and compliant analytical technologies.
The business plays a critical role in enabling customers to meet regulatory requirements, improve process efficiency, and protect public health and the environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
. Degree into Engineering or Chemistry plus 7+ years of experience in sales in Biotech, Life Science, or BioPharma industries, with specific focus on equipment sales
. Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Biotech, or Biomedical
. Relevant industry certifications a plus
. Demonstrated expertise in tender management and submission processes
. Consistent record of meeting sales targets and supporting business growth
. Experience in managing and developing customer and channel partner relationships
. Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
. Proficiency in pipeline management and sales forecasting
. Strong project management and coordination skills
. Proficiency in business intelligence tools and CRM systems (e.g., Power BI, Salesforce)
. Advanced communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
. Experience in organizing and facilitating technical and marketing events
. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
. Ability to maintain detailed documentation and manage multiple priorities
. Excellent relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
. Experience in coordinating with legal and finance teams for contract management
