Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Sales Manager role based in Guwahati. The Senior Sales Manager will lead sales development for advertising, events, exhibitions, and custom décor solutions, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Daily responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and preparing proposals and presentations aligned with client needs. The role involves coordinating closely with creative, operations, and production teams to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, and delivery of projects. The Senior Sales Manager will track sales performance, forecast revenue, mentor junior sales team members, and represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and pitch presentations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in B2B sales and account management, preferably in advertising, events, exhibitions, or related marketing services.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing high-value deals.
  • Ability to understand and sell integrated solutions across advertising, events, signage, and custom décor.
  • Experience collaborating with internal creative, production, and operations teams to scope projects and meet client expectations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities, including sales forecasting, target tracking, and market trend analysis.
  • Leadership experience in guiding, mentoring, or managing a sales team is highly desirable.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, project-based environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and basic MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for tracking and reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Guwahati and Northeast India market and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and events.
