Job Description

The Senior Sales Manager will lead the Business Development function by driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. The role is responsible for building a strong sales pipeline, improving sales processes, achieving team business targets, and driving strategic account growth. The incumbent will work closely with leadership and the Marketing team to strengthen lead generation initiatives, enhance client retention, and expand business opportunities.

 

This position is ideal for a dynamic sales leader with 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales, real estate consulting, or developer-facing sales, with proven expertise in team management, business development, commercial negotiations, and revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Development team to achieve monthly and quarterly business targets.
  • Develop and execute sales and lead generation strategies to drive business growth.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline and monitor overall team performance.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to drive lead generation and business development initiatives.
  • Manage CXO-level client relationships and lead strategic meetings and commercial negotiations.
  • Drive key account management, client retention, and strategic account growth.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Oversee proposals, commercial discussions, and high-value deal closures.
  • Monitor sales performance, team productivity, forecasts, and pipeline reports.
  • Improve sales processes and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIS):

 

·       Team monthly and quarterly sales target achievement

·       Revenue growth and high-value deals closed

·       Sales pipeline health and conversion rate

·       Qualified leads generated through team and marketing initiatives

Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills

·       Strong proficiency in CRM platforms (Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or equivalent) for pipeline management

and sales forecasting.

·       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for

business reporting and presentations.

·       Strong understanding of B2B sales strategy, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.

·       Experience in commercial negotiations, proposal management, and contract documentation.

·       Good understanding of the real estate consulting industry, RERA regulations, and the developer

ecosystem.

·       Knowledge of digital lead generation, marketing collaboration, and sales analytics.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (Marathi preferred).
  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching abilities.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, business development, and strategic account management.
  • Strong commercial negotiation, presentation, and CXO stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies, manage sales pipelines, and achieve team business targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

·       5–8 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, real estate consulting, or developer-

facing sales.

·       Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and consistently achieving revenue and

business growth targets.

·       Experience in sales strategy, key account management, commercial negotiations, and managing the

complete sales cycle.

·       Strong proficiency in CRM platforms, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and business reporting.
