About RISE for Business by BCG U

RISE for Business (RFB) is BCG's flagship programme designed to help Singapore's Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) unlock growth and build future-ready capabilities— without disrupting day-to-day operations. Through hands-on learning, real business problem-solving, and coaching from industry experts, SMEs accelerate their digital, AI, and transformation journeys. The programme is supported by the Singapore government and aligned with national digitalisation goals. Eligible companies can receive up to 90% funding support through SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and enhanced subsidy schemes.

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned hunter to drive enterprise acquisition across BCG U's flagship B2B programmes in Singapore. Each Senior Sales Manager will own multiple programmes over time, selling across the full buyer spectrum — from SMEs to mid-market companies to larger enterprises.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who has spent their career closing deals — not managing teams — and wants to keep doing what they do best, with the added impact of being a role model and informal coach to less experienced Sales Managers around them.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Acquisition Across Programmes & Segments

  • Own enrolment targets and revenue across multiple programmes as your portfolio grows
  • Carry a full mix of deals — faster-cycle SME enrolments alongside complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise engagements
  • Generate pipeline through outbound, events, partnerships, and inbound conversion
  • Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing
  • Consistently exceed ambitious targets

2. Elevate the Team as a Player-Coach

  • Share playbooks, frameworks, and approaches with Sales Managers across the team
  • Coach teammates on pitches, objection handling, and closing — and step in when deals get stuck
  • Set the standard for consultative selling, executive engagement, and pipeline discipline
  • Help onboard and ramp new sales hires

3. Bring Senior Firepower to Complex Deals

  • Take point on the most strategic opportunities — larger enterprises, multi-cohort enrolments, lighthouse accounts
  • Build board-ready business cases and navigate multi-threaded buying groups with confidence

4. Build Senior-Level Partnerships

  • Cultivate relationships with technology partners, industry associations, and enterprise networks
  • Represent BCG U's programmes at C-level forums and executive roundtables

5. Sales Performance & Discipline

  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene, forecasting, and pipeline reviews — and model the standard for the team
  • Partner with programme, marketing, and delivery teams on positioning and enrolment strategy
  • Continuously refine outreach based on performance insights

  • Consistent over-achievement of personal quota across the full mix of deal sizes and programmes
  • Visible uplift in team performance through coaching and deal support
  • Recognised internally as a role model for consultative, executive-grade B2B selling

Who You Are

  • 8–15+ years as a B2B sales individual contributor — a career hunter
  • Track record of closing both faster-cycle SME deals and complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
  • Strong experience selling digital transformation, upskilling, and training solutions
  • Deep expertise selling into the Singapore market — fluency with SME, mid-market, and MNC buying behaviours
  • Polished executive presence — equally credible with an SME founder, a mid-market CEO, or a CXO at a large enterprise
  • A natural team player and informal coach — generous with knowledge, raises the bar around them, no ego on deals
  • Disciplined operator: rigorous in CRM, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Thrives in fast-paced, KPI-driven environments while bringing the calm and judgement of a senior professional
