Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Sales Manager to drive business growth, strategic account development, and market expansion for the Geosystems portfolio in the Eastern region. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, consultative selling, and strong execution capability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion across the assigned region
  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams, industry segments, and go-to-market strategies

Key Account Management

  • Manage and grow strategic/key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships
  • Build strong relationships with CxO-level stakeholders, government bodies, and enterprise customers
  • Lead account planning and ensure wallet share expansion within existing customers

Sales Execution & Deal Management

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: opportunity identification → solution positioning → negotiation → closure
  • Lead complex solution sales involving hardware, software, and services
  • Collaborate with Pre-sales, Technical, and Delivery teams to create winning proposals

Tendering & Proposals

  • Drive large tenders, RFPs, and technical proposals. Basic understanding of government procurement
  • Deliver compelling presentations, demos, and solution narratives tailored to customer needs

Operations & Commercial Excellence

  • Ensure accurate forecasting, order booking, and revenue realization
  • Drive timely payment collections and commercial compliance
  • Maintain profitability and margin targets for the region

Market & Brand Leadership

  • Represent Hexagon in industry forums, customer engagements, and government interactions
  • Strengthen brand positioning and build a trusted advisor reputation in the market

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; MBA preferred
  • 12–15 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in relevant or adjacent industries
  • Proven track record in selling complex technical solutions (hardware + software + services)

Functional Expertise

  • Strong experience in key account management and enterprise sales
  • Exposure to Geospatial, Surveying, Construction Tech, Infrastructure, or related domains is preferred
  • Experience handling large, multi-stakeholder deals and government/business tenders
  • Experience in handling key enterprise and government accounts
  • Expertise in Increasing wallet share within strategic customers
