Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Manager / Sales Director to lead our sales
efforts in IT consulting, AI-powered solutions, and digital transformation services. This role
involves driving revenue growth, building high-performance sales teams, and managing
strategic client relationships to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Define, execute, and own the sales strategy for assigned geographies, sectors, or
service lines.
- Achieve annual and quarterly revenue targets, ensuring sustainable growth.
- Identify and penetrate new markets for IT services and AI/ML-based solutions.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and scale a team of BDMs, Account Managers, and Inside Sales
Executives.
- Conduct regular sales performance reviews and training sessions.
- Create a high-performance culture with clear KPIs and incentive plans.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Drive enterprise-level deal closures with C-suite executives of prospective
clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for upselling and cross-selling
opportunities.
- Lead strategic partnerships and alliances to strengthen market presence.
- Sales Process & Operational Excellence
- Oversee the entire sales cycle – lead generation to deal closure.
- Ensure effective CRM management, pipeline visibility, and forecasting accuracy.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure winning
proposals and smooth handovers.
- Market & Industry Intelligence
- Stay updated on IT industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging
technologies.
- Leverage market insights to create competitive value propositions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10–15 years in IT services sales, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management
role.
- Proven track record in closing enterprise deals.
- Strong network of CXO-level contacts in relevant industries.
- Expertise in selling AI/ML, cloud, mobility, and digital transformation services.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Annual & quarterly revenue achievement.
- New account acquisitions vs. retention ratio.
- Average deal size & sales cycle time.
- Team target achievement rate.
