Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational sales targets and business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Set ambitious yet achievable sales goals for the team and track progress toward meeting these goals.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring that team members are well-trained and supported.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations to team members, ensuring continuous development and improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture that aligns with company values and goals.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
  • Act as the main point of contact for major accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue upselling or cross-selling strategies.
  • Sales Operations & Performance Tracking:
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
  • Utilize CRM software and sales tools to streamline sales processes, track leads, and manage customer data.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify new market segments and business opportunities for growth, both in existing and new markets.
  • Lead the identification and negotiation of new business partnerships and deals.
  • Support marketing efforts to drive leads, campaigns, and events that generate new business opportunities.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
  • Analyze customer behavior, industry developments, and competitor offerings to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and financial models in alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure the efficient allocation of resources and budgets for maximum ROI on sales activities.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between sales and other departments.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams on customer preferences and market demand.
  • Assist in the development and execution of pricing strategies, promotional offers, and sales campaigns.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales, with at least 3 years in a senior or management-level sales role.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing sales teams in a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles, CRM software, and sales performance metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think strategically.
  • Experience in market analysis and competitive intelligence.
