About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Sales Manager – Consumer Tech to drive revenue across high-growth consumer tech businesses for Dodo Payments. This role will focus on managing the full sales lifecycle — from prospecting and discovery to product demos, commercial discussions, closure, and handover to onboarding/account management.
The ideal candidate comes from a payments/fintech background, with strong exposure to cross - border merchant acquisition experience.

Experience
5–8 years of total experience, with strong experience in B2B sales, payments, fintech, SaaS, or cross-border commerce.
What You'll Own
Revenue & Sales Closure
- Own sales conversations with consumer tech companies across the assigned regions.
- Manage the funnel from qualified lead to product demo, negotiation, and closure.
- Drive revenue targets across new business acquisition.
- Build strong relationships with founders, finance leaders, growth teams, and business heads.
Consumer Tech Market Focus
- Target companies across consumer internet, digital products, gaming, creator platforms, marketplaces, apps, subscriptions, and SaaS-led consumer businesses.
- Understand payment flows, checkout needs, subscriptions, payouts, compliance, and cross-border requirements.
- Position Dodo Payments as a global payments, billing, and Merchant of Record platform.
Consultative Selling
- Run structured discovery calls to understand customer pain points.
- Conduct high-quality product demos tailored to the customer's business model.
- Explain Dodo's value across payments, tax compliance, subscriptions, global coverage, and operational simplification.
- Handle objections around pricing, integrations, compliance, settlement, and platform comparison.
Market Expansion
- Build and manage pipeline across the assigned region.
- Identify high-potential consumer tech accounts and create targeted outreach.
- Work closely with growth, product, onboarding, and leadership teams to improve conversion.
- Share market feedback, competitor insights, and customer requirements internally.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in payments/fintech/SaaS.
- Prior experience selling to consumer tech, internet, app-first, marketplace, or digital businesses.
- Strong understanding of payment gateways, cross-border payments, subscriptions, settlements, and merchant onboarding.
- Ability to run demos and close deals independently.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with GCC / SEA / international markets will be preferred.
- Founder-facing maturity and ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
Success Metrics
- Revenue closed from new consumer tech accounts.
- Quality and velocity of sales pipeline.
- Demo-to-closure conversion rate.
- Number of strategic consumer tech logos acquired.
- Strong handover quality to onboarding/account management teams.
