Role Objective: To drive sales growth by developing strong client relationships, acquiring new business, and exploring OEM partnerships for fabrication and new product design support, in both domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Identify, target, and acquire clients in domestic and export markets, including OEM opportunities.
•
Search and engage with clients looking for OEM support in fabrication and designing new products.
•
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
•
Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, project contractors, dealers, and OEM clients.
•
Collaborate with design & production teams to provide client-specific solutions.
•
Prepare proposals, quotations, and product presentations for projects and OEM requirements.
•
Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to promote products and capabilities.
•
Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
•
Maintain accurate sales records and prepare performance reports.
Performance Indicators (KPIs):
•
Sales revenue growth.
•
New client acquisition rate.
•
Number of OEM partnerships initiated.
•
Repeat business percentage.
•
Proposal-to-order conversion ratio.
Job Specification (JS) – Sales Manager
Education:
•
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
•
MBA preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
•
4–7 years of experience in sales, preferably in lighting, décor, fabrication, OEM services, or construction materials.
•
Proven experience in B2B sales, project sales, and OEM client handling.
Skills & Competencies:
•
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
•
Ability to understand technical requirements for fabrication and product design.
•
Knowledge of lighting industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
•
Strategic thinking with problem-solving abilities.
•
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Other Requirements:
•
Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, exhibitions, and site visits.
•
Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
•
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
