Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Sales Executive role based in Baruipur. The Senior Sales Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct client meetings and demos, and present First Penny Software's products and services to key decision-makers. Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting and lead nurturing to negotiation and closure, while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and achieving or exceeding revenue targets. The role will involve collaborating closely with product, marketing, and implementation teams to align client needs with suitable solutions and ensure a smooth handover after deal closure. The Senior Sales Executive will also be expected to monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, provide regular sales reporting, and support strategic initiatives to expand the company's presence in target markets.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B software or IT services sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, including prospecting, needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS, web solutions, mobile applications, POS systems, CRM, or related digital products (experience with similar products is a plus).
  • Ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline, use CRM tools effectively, and prepare accurate forecasts and reports.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent commercial experience is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Baruipur and travel locally or regionally for client meetings as required.
