Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Executive / Area Sales Manager to join our Healthcare Technologies division. The role involves driving business development, project sales, customer engagement, and market expansion across hospitals, healthcare institutions, medical colleges, and healthcare project stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of premium, high-value capital medical equipment and healthcare technology solutions through a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach. This position requires the ability to manage complex, project-driven sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, build long-term customer relationships, and work closely with healthcare professionals from project planning through successful execution.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across hospitals, healthcare groups, medical colleges, and specialty healthcare institutions.

• Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive customer engagement, strategic account management, and market development activities.

• Promote premium healthcare technology solutions and capital medical equipment through consultative selling and value-based solution presentations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, clinicians, operation theatre teams, hospital management, biomedical engineering departments, engineering teams, purchase and procurement departments, consultants, architects, PMCs, and contractors.

• Track upcoming hospital infrastructure and healthcare projects from planning, design, tendering, construction, and execution stages to identify new business opportunities.

• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal application, engineering, and service teams.

• Review project specifications, BOQs, tender documents, drawings, and customer requirements.

• Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, and contract finalization while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate with internal sales, applications, service, logistics, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful installations.

• Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity tracking, sales forecasting, and periodic business reports.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and emerging opportunities within the healthcare sector.

• Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, workshops, CMEs, and industry events.

• Achieve assigned sales targets, territory objectives, and long-term business growth plans.

• Follow company sales processes, reporting structures, and business development strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3–8 years of experience in healthcare sales, capital equipment sales, project sales, medical devices, healthcare technology, healthcare infrastructure, or related industries.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.

• Strong existing professional network and working relationships with surgeons, clinicians, operation theatre teams, biomedical engineers, hospital management, engineering departments, purchase/procurement teams, consultants, and healthcare decision-makers will be highly preferred.

• Experience selling premium, high-value capital equipment through consultative and project-based sales processes.

• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

• Ability to independently manage long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.

• Strong commercial acumen and customer-focused approach.

• Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings and project development activities.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes and capital equipment purchasing cycles.

• Experience engaging with architects, PMCs, EPC contractors, biomedical engineering teams, consultants, and hospital leadership.

• CRM management, opportunity forecasting, and sales pipeline management.

• Strong business development, networking, and strategic account management capabilities.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and business reporting.

• Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently build, develop, and grow a sales territory.

Travel - 60–80%
