Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Senior Sales Engineer with 24 years of experience in industrial sales, specifically in machinery, sheet metal, and fabrication solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and providing technical sales support to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial, manufacturing, and fabrication sectors
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts to achieve sales targets
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable machinery and fabrication solutions
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and negotiations
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and service teams for smooth order execution
- Conduct product demonstrations, site visits, and technical discussions with clients
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain strong customer relationships
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 24 years of proven experience in industrial or B2B sales
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, sheet metal processes, fabrication, welding, or CNC-related products
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a result-oriented approach
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and site visits
- Preferred Skills
- Experience in OEM / fabrication unit / machinery manufacturing companies
- Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems
- Existing network in manufacturing or industrial clients
