Senior Sales Engineer, Machine Safety (Pune/Mumbai)

ReeR India Pvt.Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in Pune or Mumbai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and expanding our market presence within the safety machine industry. As a Senior Sales Engineer, your primary focus will be on serving both OEMs and end users, ensuring that our range of safety products, including safety light curtains, safety controllers, and safety RFID switches, meets the specific needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the safety machine automation industry
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with both OEMs and end users
• Collaborate with the engineering and product management teams to ensure a thorough understanding of our products and their applications
• Provide technical expertise and support to customers and to the existing distribution network, helping to select the right products for their specific applications
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities
• Identify and appoint new distributors

The Senior Sales Engineer will assist the Managing Director to accelerate business growth in the defined area. This is a technical / commercial role for a talented engineer with a good understanding of the Automation Industry. The role will include supporting, providing technical support to the end customers and specifying ReeR products into Tier 1 companies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma / BTECH preferably in Electrical & Electronics Engineering in Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in technical sales, particularly within the safety machine automation industry
• In-depth understanding of safety products, such as safety light curtains, safety controllers, and safety RFID switches
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Desired skills: Programming/Configuration of PLC and Safety Controllers
• Desired experience: 5 years
