Outbound sales is broken. Reps spend more time on admin than on conversations, and most outreach never lands. Tario.ai is fixing that — an AI-native sales platform built for outbound teams that want to move faster, prospect smarter, and close more. We are a subsidiary of Zycus Infotech, combining the foundation of an established enterprise technology organisation with the pace of a startup on a mission. We are now expanding into the US market and looking for a sales leader to own that growth.
The Role
This is a player-coach position. You will personally close high-value deals while building and managing a team of 5–6 Business Development Representatives. You will own the full US outbound sales motion — pipeline creation, deal execution, team development, and GTM feedback to the founding team. This is an early, high-impact hire. You will have full ownership of your region's revenue number and the opportunity to shape how Tario sells in the US — the playbooks, the processes, and the team that will scale the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own US revenue and pipeline targets — you carry the number and are accountable for quarterly goals
- Run full-cycle sales on high-value opportunities — discovery, demo, negotiation, and close for mid-market accounts
- Build and manage a team of 5–6 BDRs — hire, onboard, coach, and develop their outbound skills including messaging, objection handling, and conversion
- Design a repeatable outbound engine — sequences, cadences, and playbooks across target accounts and segments
- Maintain pipeline quality and forecast accuracy — rigorous deal hygiene, stage discipline, and reliable weekly forecasts
- Work closely with founders on GTM strategy — bring structured market feedback on ICP, messaging, and positioning
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 3 years personally selling into the US market from India — quota-carrying, not just team management
- Demonstrated track record closing mid-market deals with measurable quota attainment
- Experience hiring, onboarding, and managing a BDR or SDR team
- Proven ability to build pipeline from scratch in a market where the product had no brand recognition
- Comfortable selling to VP Sales, CROs, or RevOps buyers — you understand their metrics and how they buy
- Has been an early or key sales hire at a company that scaled from near-zero to meaningful US ARR
