The RoleAs a Senior Sales Executive / Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue end to end. This is a hands-on sales role where you will own the complete sales cycle - from prospecting to demos to closing. The role is ideal for someone who has actually sold SaaS products, thrives in a startup environment, and enjoys closing deals.
What You Bring- 2+ years of experience in selling SaaS products or technology services
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling CRM, WhatsApp automation, telecalling, or workflow tools
- Strong ability to manage time, pipeline, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with cold outreach, demos, objection handling, and closing
- Startup mindset with high ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Ownership:
- Own the full sales cycle: lead generation discovery product demo negotiation closure
- Drive new revenue generation (this is not a support or coordination role)
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and engage prospects through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, inbound leads, and networking
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with target ICPs (SMBs / Enterprises)
Consultative Selling
- Conduct discovery calls and demos to understand business needs
- Position Makunai Global's CRM, WhatsApp Automation, and Telecalling solutions as high-ROI solutions
Negotiation & Closing
- Handle objections, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations confidently
- Close deals by clearly articulating value, ROI, and business impact
Sales Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools
- Share regular sales updates and insights with leadership
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Founders, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to refine pitch, GTM strategy, and customer experience
Target Achievement- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
