Job Description

Job purpose

The primary purpose of a sales role in the field of metrology / Capital goods products is to drive the company's financial success by consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. This involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the metrology industry, as well as maximizing revenue from existing customers through upselling and cross-selling of metrology products and services.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Work Experience:6+

Other Skills: Sales Force + Metrology basic knowledge

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities (Tasks & Deliverables):

General and Task Management:

Goal-oriented professional with expertise in strengthening companies to lead in highly

competitive situations.

Growth Facilitator with impressive success in setting vision, direction & strategic plan for

developing business, driving sales, and amplifying business margin.

Develop Sales channel for Entry level products.

Develop Business partner as an extended arm for generating leads and Opportunities for entry

level products.

Increase market share and establish ZEISS brand in the territory assigned.

Scope new market segments and propose value- based solution.

Present the Product or service favorably and in a structured professional way face to face or by

digital means.

Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale.

Maintain and develop relationship with existing customers in person via phone calls , emails,

and other digital forms.

Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers and prospect for new business.

Respond to new leads assigned by marketing or pre-sales team within stipulated time.

Act as interface between company and its existing and potential customers.

Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.

Develop technical expertise on the different product range.

Gather market and customer information time to time to develop new sales strategies for the

changing market scenarios.

Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy our solution for their

problems.

Advise on forthcoming product development and discuss special promotion suitable for the

region.

Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, webinars, and demonstrations.

Review your own Sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed the budgets.
