The Senior SailPoint Developer is an integral part of the Cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management (IAM) department, focusing on designing and implementing identity governance solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ. The role demands expertise in developing complex integrations, automating identity lifecycle management, and ensuring compliance with security standards within a consulting 6-9 years of experience in IAM solutions with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ (v7.x or v8.x).

  • Proficiency in Java, Beanshell scripting, XML, and SQL for developing and customizing IAM solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Identity Governance concepts, including provisioning, aggregation, role management, policy enforcement, and certifications.
  • Experience with directory services such as Active Directory and LDAP, and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns to facilitate seamless system integrations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for efficient IAM code deployment.
  • SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer/Developer certification preferred, with experience in IdentityNow or hybrid IAM environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy SailPoint IdentityIQ components, including workflows, rules, forms, and reports, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Implement and maintain joiner-mover-leaver (JML) processes to streamline identity lifecycle management across client organizations.
  • Develop and customize connectors for seamless integration with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, SAP, ServiceNow, and Workday.
  • Build and enforce access certifications, separation of duties (SoD) policies, and role-based access controls (RBAC) to enhance security compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve provisioning, aggregation, and synchronization issues across integrated systems to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with application owners to efficiently onboard new applications into the SailPoint IdentityIQ environment.
  • Support the patching, upgrading, and performance optimization of SailPoint IdentityIQ environments to maintain optimal functionality.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and provide mentorship to junior developers to foster skill growth within the degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
