We are looking for extraordinary Software Engineers to develop and productize NVIDIA's DRIVE software. As a member of NVIDIA's Solution Engineering team, you will adapt DRIVE solutions to various car platforms equipped with different sensors. We are looking for a Senior Safety Architect with a goodgrasp of Hardware and Software Architectures,expertisein Automotive SPICE & ISO26262 and applyingISO26262 to safety-critical automotive components and systems.
What you will be doing:
Lead the safety architecture discussions for SW components and directlyinterface withcustomers to support DRIVE software safety solutions.
Epitomize the DRIVE Software Functional Safety and SOTIF strategy to customers.
Collaborate with customers to draft the DIA for programs per ISO26262.
Engage withcustomers to understand andidentifythe safety requirements on DRIVE software.
Continuously evolve and support requirements gathering process and traceability flow.
Actively coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet customers safety requirements and to drive complex issues to closure.
Work with customers safety teams to integrate NVIDIA'sSEooCsoftware components to build overall safetycasefor their products.
Participate in architectural explorations which include feasibility studies, safetyevaluationsand data analysis.
Influence NVIDIA's DRIVE Safety Architecture & Framework evolution with inputs and recommendations into the design and architecture choices.
What we need to see:
BS/MS or equivalent experience.
10+ years of overall experienceand with3+ years of automotive industry experience.
Sound knowledge of functional safety architecture to meetISO26262standard.
Hands-on experience implementing parts 3 and 4 of ISO26262.
Strong background in embedded software development and deep knowledge of product development lifecycle.
Proficiencywith safety architectural analysis of ADAS or L2/L3 autonomous driving stack ispreferred..
Experience withdeveloping fault handling strategies and degraded modes of operation.
Effective written and verbal communication regardless of audience or issue complexity.
Proventrack recordwith shipping safety systems.
