Senior S4H Security SME

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior S4H Security SME for an urgent opportunity with our client in Pune.

The role will be responsible for SAP Security design, implementation and support across S/4HANA environments, including access role design, Fiori security, SAP BTP security, GRC/SoD controls and authorization management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage access roles for SAP S/4HANA environments across multiple business domains.

• Implement best practices for role building, testing and transport.

• Define role transport strategies for complex multi-tier SAP environments.

• Define and implement SAP BTP security best practices.

• Work on authentication and access controls for third-party application integrations.

• Define SoD risks and mitigation controls in collaboration with GRC and process teams.

• Support GRC teams in maintaining SoD risk matrices, transaction codes and Fiori applications.

• Review custom developments and recommend appropriate authorization checks.

• Review and maintain authorization defaults for transactions, Fiori applications and Web Dynpro.

• Support SAP Security audits and evidence gathering activities.

• Develop and continuously improve SAP Security policies, processes and procedures.

• Support SAP transports during major releases, dual maintenance and retrofit activities.

• Work closely with Business Process Owners, Product Owners, Business Analysts, SMEs, Cyber Security, Audit and Risk & Controls teams.

• Provide technical governance, standards and best-practice recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–9 years of relevant SAP Security experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Security.

• Minimum 2 S/4HANA Greenfield/Brownfield implementation experience.

• Strong experience in SAP Fiori Security and role design.

• Experience with SAP BTP security, including IAS and IPS.

• Strong understanding of authentication, identity provisioning and role design.

• Experience with GRC, SoD risk and access controls.

• Experience with Fiori Pages, Spaces, Catalogues, Groups and Applications.

• Understanding of OData V2/V4, API Security and troubleshooting Fiori/HANA access issues.

• Experience with authorization objects and role design across business domains.

• Exposure to provisioning tools such as Saviynt/IDM will be an advantage.

• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a global environment.
