About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer who is passionate about building high-quality, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test-driven development (TDD) and a deep understanding of best coding practices. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs and applications while contributing to continuous improvements in our development processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails applications and their APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices (RSpec, Minitest, etc.).
• Apply TDD (Test-Driven Development) principles to ensure code reliability and quality.
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
• Debug production issues and provide timely fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Lead or mentor junior developers experience in leading a team is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on coding experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
• Self-taught developers are also welcome.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, RESTful API design, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
