Job Description

Top 3 Skills:

Hands-on experience working remotely with cross-functional teams in reviewing revenue deal structures
Strong understanding of the end-to-end Order to Cash process at mid/large public companies
Experience managing large data volumes and applying data analytics in close processes

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

Collaborating globally with Sales, Legal, and Business teams
Leading a team to evaluate draft contracts for revenue recognition impact
Providing technical accounting guidance for revenue close activities
Reviewing customer contracts for accurate revenue recognition per accounting standards
Supporting FP&A teams with revenue assurance for pricing and new product launches
Assisting with special projects involving technical accounting
Designing and implementing revenue accounting under ASC606
Strengthening internal controls over revenue processes and reporting
Recommending process/report improvements to boost productivity and accuracy
Managing month-end and quarter-end revenue close, reconciliations, and analysis
Preparing data/supporting documents for audits and external reviews

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CA/CPA preferred
Experience in Big 4 accounting firms or public company finance
3+ years in a public company environment
Experience analyzing SaaS, OEM, License, and Services contracts
Strong knowledge of GAAP and multi-element revenue recognition standards (ASC 605-25, SAB 104, etc.)
Hands-on experience with ASC606 implementation
Familiarity with ERP system implementation
Experience with SFDC and NetSuite (preferred)
Proven success in process improvement
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail-focused with excellent analytical and verbal skills
