Role Description The Senior Retail Architect will lead the architectural design and technical development of retail, QSR, hospitality, and commercial projects, ensuring brand consistency and buildability. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad, involving close coordination with internal design, project management, engineering, and procurement teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing concept and detailed designs, preparing drawings and specifications, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, building codes, and safety standards. The role will involve site visits, design audits, and collaboration with clients, consultants, and vendors to resolve design issues and maintain quality during execution. The Senior Retail Architect will also contribute to design standards, value engineering, and process improvements to support fast-track rollouts and multi-location projects.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a focus on retail, QSR, hospitality, and commercial interiors.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM or similar) and ability to integrate design outputs with project execution workflows.
- Solid understanding of technical integration, including coordination with MEP, structural, and services layouts to ensure seamless design implementation.
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, coordination with stakeholders, time management, and overseeing design delivery across multiple sites.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Experience with high-footfall and compliance-heavy environments such as malls, airports, or flagship stores is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, materials, retail fixtures, and construction methods relevant to interior fit-outs.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
