Job Description

A large D2C company in the Beauty & Personal Care space is looking for an experienced Research Analyst who can turn consumer, category, competitor, pricing, and channel data into clear GTM and product-gap recommendations.

Location: Faridabad, Haryana | Work from Office | 5 days

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct consumer, category, competitor, pricing, assortment, and channel research.
  • Analyse consumer reviews, search trends, competitor activity, pricing, and marketplace/channel data.
  • Identify market opportunities, consumer needs, product gaps, and GTM opportunities.
  • Combine primary and secondary research to build evidence-based insights.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise, decision-ready recommendations.
  • Highlight assumptions, confidence levels, data limitations, and unanswered questions.
  • Work closely with Strategy, Brand, Product, E-commerce, Performance Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Finance teams.

What We're Looking For

  • 4-8 years of experience in consumer/category/market/commercial/strategic research, preferably within Beauty, Personal Care, FMCG, D2C, or consumer businesses.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Ability to evaluate data quality, sample limitations, conflicting evidence, and source credibility.
  • Strong analytical thinking with excellent synthesis, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to convert research findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
