Senior Research Analyst

Job Purpose:

To track assigned companies and support the business with short-term and medium-term ideas, as well as to provide timely reports to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of companies within designated sectors.
• Conduct in-house research and utilize tools like Bloomberg.
• Develop and maintain a customized database for portfolio advisory services.
• Establish parameters and frameworks for creating business models, analysis tools, and comparisons.
• Explore and analyze potential investment opportunities for wealth customers.
• Collect data and run sensitivities in light of commercial feasibility and changing variables.
• Use standardized financial tools such as IRR, NPV, EVA, ROCE, and others for comprehensive analysis.
• Participate in team activities.
• Provide required reports and analysis to support the team.

Key Challenges:

• Operating in a highly regulated environment with compliance requirements from multiple regulatory bodies such as SEBI, RBI, AMFI, and others.
• Navigating a competitive market with major players from national wealth outfits and private banks.

Internal:

• Collaborate with the Wealth Advisory Head on market trends and business discussions.

External:

• Engage with clients as needed, primarily through inbound interactions.
