Senior Reporting Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of reporting solutions to support Healthcare Payer operations, including claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management.
• Gather and analyze data from various sources to create comprehensive reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present data in a clear and actionable manner.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of reports.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide insights and recommendations.
• Support ad-hoc reporting requests and provide analytical support for special projects.
• Document reporting processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and repeatability.
• Mentor and guide junior reporting analysts, providing support and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, with at least 2 to 3 years focused on the Healthcare Payer industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Healthcare Payer operations, including claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
• Experience in mentoring and leading junior team members is required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Certification in data analysis or related fields (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) is a plus.
