Job Description

To manage the Agency Channel and POS operations efficiently by developing teams, ensuring compliance, driving profitability, and maintaining high performance in sales and distribution.

Responsibilities / KPI's

  • Follow defined procedures and manage daily priorities as per business objectives.
  • Work independently on routine tasks while providing direction and support to the team.
  • Apply standard techniques and continuously improve processes within the defined domain.
  • Set clear performance standards and objectives for self and team members (78 team members).
  • Communicate effectively to influence internal and external stakeholders.

Agency Channel / POS Development

  • Assist in sourcing and servicing POS agents as per policy and business mix.
  • Manage channel development in the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate with operations for pre-licensing, training, and licensing activities.
  • Conduct induction and product training for POS agents.
  • Maintain an optimal mix of new and existing POS agents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to target various market segments.

Agency Channel / POS Management

  • Monitor agent performance on renewals, new business, funnel, and closures.
  • Maintain a high percentage of active POS and control attrition.
  • Drive team productivity and ensure consistent channel engagement.
  • Reconcile partner accounts and coordinate with other departments.

Profitability

  • Analyze market dynamics and share insights to enhance organizational performance.
  • Manage and optimize loss ratios.

Compliance & Hygiene

  • Ensure compliance with external authorities and internal policies.
  • Manage cheque bounce recovery and address business pendency.

People Management

  • Recruit and develop Relationship Managers / Territory Sales Managers.
  • Enhance employee and POS engagement aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and recommend training interventions.
